Planning A Small Wedding: We've flowered some beautiful intimate weddings
This year (for Smith and Lily) has been the year of the small wedding or intimate wedding.
Your "save the date"cards have gone out and you and your partner have started to trawl through Pinterest or Instagram for flower inspiration for you. Clients choose a smaller wedding for a number of reasons, often the couple are looking for an intimate ceremony and reception because they would like a more intimate experience and for their big day to be a celebration that also feels like an elevated dinner party. Other clients have booked a church wedding and are planning a reception at a family home or restaurant or perhaps are planning for the wedding ceremony and reception to be at a local Los Angeles venue or a beautiful backyard. We've flowered all of the above.
What is important when planning a small wedding is that it's unique to you as a couple.
For Ben and Josh's backyard wedding in Pasadena we designed a grounded ceremony arch packed full of local, seasonal flowers and mustard blooms for height. Once the ceremony was over the arch (designed in pieces) was then placed throughout the wedding reception -by the pool, in front of the DJ, at the bar etc
Mor and Vitaly opted for Chuppah installation full of texture and movement
Tables were filled with centerpieces, bud vases and candles for an intimate experience. We are always happy to include personal treasures or vases. Ben and Josh opted to commission a local artist to hand-make their vases, Cynthia and Alex had their personal collection of bud vases and Jackie and Steve included tomato plants (a personal reference to Jackie's upbringing) as well as centerpieces and bud vases full of garden roses, ranunculus and Spring flower favorites.
For an intimate wedding your wedding party can be as small or large as you like - remember it's YOUR wedding. However, this is an area where costs can rise if you have a larger wedding party and you would like everyone to have a boutonniere, corsage or bridesmaid bouquet.

Our Wedding Design Process:
If we are a good fit, we will gather a few details from you before scheduling a call to go through your wedding needs in more detail. We will then get busy putting together your personalized design-board and quote. Once the non refundable retainer is paid and contract signed we will then schedule your complimentary visit to The Original Los Angeles Flower Market where we will take a look in more detail at color palettes and beautiful blooms.
We can't wait to work with you!
